Before you request deletion
- Deletion removes account access and your profile from discovery.
- Live uploaded profile, post, story, and introduction files linked only to the account are removed from active media storage when deletion completes.
- Likes, follows, profile details, and other account-linked social activity are removed or de-identified.
- Message and comment text may be removed or replaced so another person's conversation or thread does not break.
- Limited safety, report, block, fraud, moderation, and security records may remain in anonymized or minimized form when needed to prevent abuse, protect members, resolve disputes, or meet a legal obligation.
Option 1: delete inside the app
When you can sign in, open Profile → Safety & Privacy → Delete account. Review the data summary and confirm the destructive action. The app will sign you out after the server confirms deletion.
Option 2: request deletion on the web
Email members can use this form when the app deletion flow is unavailable and they still know the account email and password. The password is checked securely and is never stored with the request. Phone-only members should sign in with a fresh SMS code and use the in-app deletion flow; if the number is no longer available, contact support for a reviewed ownership-recovery process. Submission starts a privacy review; it does not immediately delete an account. Never put a password, one-time code, or identity document in the optional details field.
After submission
SiamMeet reviews the request, verifies the account where necessary, checks whether a limited safety or legal hold applies, and processes eligible deletion without unnecessary delay. Keep access to the account email or phone number during review. The completion time varies with verification and any active safety or legal issue.
Read the Privacy Policy for more about retention and the Support page for available help channels.
